![]() Plus, it would be very boring too, if the player has already beaten the games fairly recently (such as within the last 5 years). On top of all that, beating these games and doing all of the content in them is a massive time investment, which would further dis-incentivize someone who already has beaten the Geofront versions from buying the NISA versions. ![]() I realize some people will say: "I will buy the NISA versions just to support the series." But in that case, NISA would essentially be relying on charity/pity sales from those consumers they wouldn't be buying the game because it offers them a good value for the dollar, in light of them already owning very similar and almost-just-as-good versions (presuming the NISA versions do indeed end up being better than the Geofront wouldn't be by much.) I don't see how those things alone would justify someone who's already bought and cleared the Geofront versions of the games shelling out another $120 USD for them, and playing through the whole games again, just to experience those negligible improvements. I think the average person wouldn't care too much about what would be, at-best, slightly-better graphics than the Geofront versions, and a few tacked-on afterthought retconn scenes of Juna. Since these games won't have English dubs, then that means these games are going to be a hard sell to people who already own the Geofront versions.Įven if Durante makes good on his lofty promises in his AMA, and makes the NISA versions of these games be a bit better than the Geofront version are, is that really going to be enough to justify an owner of the Geofront versions double-dipping and paying top dollar for the NISA versions (which, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the NISA versions are going to have a MSRP of $59.99 USD each)? ![]()
